In volume 4 page 1806 (for example) there's lots of words scribbled out.
were these words part of the scripture, or part of the commentary?
any idea why they were crossed out??

Also: I downloaded the 4 volumes off the internet archive.
I take pdf of old (Bible Related) books, break them apart into individual pages,
then clean up the backgrounds and enhance the text (in photoshop)
It's a bit of work, would you be interested in seeing my finished results?

When there's a word obliterated by dirt, I have another volume - that was a very "dirty" scan
and did some cut & paste to replace that word.
I also created a log book for each volume - containing every page where I "cut & paste" a word or 2.

Hi,

The best I could find that might be of some help (short of an English version of this PDF) is here: http://www.ericlevy.com/Revel/BenChayim-Intro.pdf

Please remember that we have joined all 4 volumes together so page numbers might need to be adjusted.

Also, a quick scan through it and the start and end pages might be more what you are looking for....

Thanks for this. Do you know if there is an index to the scripture refs on each page to help a goy like me to find my way to specific passages more easily?
