When I have some time I should have a look at the script that checks the version. But using Adobe DC version all works!

cannot assess my system,
and identify, that I have a Version of Adobe PDF on my Computer!
So, as the case may be, it has worked, on all of my three (3)
systems? Why not Yours.

]]> By: Liisa https://www.originalbibles.com/the-peshitta-1886-in-pdf/#comment-562 Thu, 27 Mar 2014 06:54:20 +0000 http://www.originalbibles.com/?p=2425#comment-562 I can see you trimmed the Google scan.  That is perfectly legal since the book is public-domain, and I kind of like it, as I always find the Google watermark is really annoying, especially in Bible pages.  However, I must point out that due to recompression the quality is even worse here than the Google scan, which is not very good itself, and sometimes you trimmed a page too much in order to remove a Google watermark.  For example, in Peshitta1886_Part194.pdf the last line was broken: nē in mhaymnē should have two dots below, but the lower dot is trimmed out in your version.If one doesn’t mind the Google watermark, archive.org has a better, downloadable versions, not only in PDF but also in DjVu.
