Brentons’s English LXX Septuagint (Volume 1) original book in PDF
We have provided here the 1844 edition of Sir Brenton’s English translation of the Septuagint (LXX) – which is the Greek Old Testament that dates back to around 300 BC.
This is volume 1 – Genesis to II Chronicles.
Please be advised, that with all ancient texts, one must be careful and view it together with other editions/reprints (in case some text is lost or unreadable due to age etcetera). However, this does not reduce the pleasure of reading the original and ancient texts!

I am looking for an LXX based off of the Majority Text NOT Vaticanus translated into English. Does it exist?
There’s the Lexham LXX which is a literal translation from the Septuagint found with the Dead Sea Scrolls. It’s on Amazon.

Lexham is a modern version that might tick the box – due to its age it is still in copyright so we don’t have it here.
