We would love to see every Bible in the world as copyright free and also free of charge.
It is God’s word to help us. It is not OUR word that is copyrighted to make money for US!
What is our dream is not often the way the world is – unfortunately. So, to keep within the law, all our Bibles are either provided with explicit permission or they are copyright free due to various legal conditions e.g. date of publication.
However, for those in the UK (under Crown Copyright), the King James Bible is under a special copyright sytem of the Crown. We have been granted permission to provide such King James Bibles within the UK. Please see the following:
Rights in the Authorized (King James) Version of the Bible in the United Kingdom are vested in the Crown. Published in the United Kingdom by permission of the Crown’s patentee, Cambridge University Press

Could the copyright and printer details of the original editions, together with the Preface and Introductions published by the committee on translation, or Notes by the translators to the Reader, which were published in the original copies, published in England or in America, together with introduction to the Bibles as originally published, also be provided. At present it is only the text of the Bibles which is in these PDF files, and not the complete Bibles.
What is on the site is the full PDF scan as available for each Bible or book. There is nothing more to provide.
