This Bible is the work of the bishops of the Church of England.
The claim is that this Bible was translated from the original languages of the Bible and not from the Latin Vulgate.
It is said that many translators were responsible for doing the translations and that after the work was finished, the editing and checking of the translations was not thorough (due to people being busy).
Please be advised, that with all ancient texts, one must be careful and view it together with other editions/reprints (in case some text is lost or unreadable due to age etcetera). However, this does not reduce the pleasure of reading the original and ancient texts!
Please also be advised, that to ensure speedy download and reading, the Bible/book has been embedded (as Adobe pdf) – whilst it is downloading you will see a progress bar. However, before the download completes, if you scroll up or down, during this time, the page WILL look a bit weird. Wait till it downloads and all will be OK.

So, to aid the user and to ensure that bandwidth is not wasted the Bibles and books are split into a page per file. For serious cases we may be able to provide 1 or 2 Bibles as a full download for a temporary period if need be.
